Congratualtion Speech by Lin Gang, CPEIA Vice Executive Director

The following is a congratulation speech delivered by Lin Gang, vice executive director of China Petroleum & Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (CPEIA) on the opening ceremony of the 12th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe).

Your Excellency President Cheng Siwei，distinguished leaders, Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning!

Co-Sponsored by CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical Industry, CPEIA, Petroleum Storage & Transportation Committee of China Petroleum Society, China Petroleum Natural Gas Pipeline Transportation Enterprises Association and BeiJing Zhenwei Exhibition Co., Ltd, the “12th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe)” formally opens today.

On behalf of all the organizers of CIPPE, I would like to extend sincere thanks and warm welcome to all the distinguished leaders, guests and the exhibitors, to those friends all over the world who are concerning about the China Petroleum petrochemical and equipment manufacturing industry!

As China's petroleum enterprises speed up oversea investments duing the 12th Five-Year Plan, the Central Government strengthens the exploitation of offshore oil and gas and shale gas, driving the rapid development of Petroleum Equipment Industry. This exhibition is the largest scale Petroleum Exhibition all over the world, with an exhibition area of 80,000 Sqm, more than 1500 enterprises from 62 countries participated in it. This year, many famous domestic enterprises, such as China National Petroleum Corporation Pavilion, China Petrochemical Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation(CNOOC) will demonstrate their latest equipments and technology; In addition, a pavilion made up of 12 countries including USA, Germany, UK, France, Canada,  Norway, Italy,  Russia, Korea, Denmark etc will participate in this event.

This exhibition got strong support from USA, Russia, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Norway, Denmark etc. over 30 embassies and some medias from domestic and abroad. On behalf of the organizing committee of CIPPE, I here extend my sincere thanks to them.

During the exhibition, "International Petroleum Summit" will be held at the same time. Also, various sub forums aiming at different fields related with the International Petroleum Industry will be available. We look forward to your active participation, sharing your valuable opinions with experts from home and abroad, with the officials and the representatives of some famous enterprises.

In the meanwhile, I declare that the 13th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe) will be held in Beijing from March 19th to 21st, 2013. We sincerely invite all the related enterprises to participate in.

May I conclude my remarks by wishing the CIPPE 2012, a complete success.
